Payroll Executive

Job Summary:
The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing and processing the organization’s payroll accurately and on time. This role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, handles employee compensation records and supports finance and HR functions related to payroll operations.
Duties & Responsibilities- Payroll Processing
- Process monthly payroll for employees, including salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances and deductions.
- Ensureaccuracy of payroll data such as attendance, leave, and reimbursements.
- Generate and distribute payslips.
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Handle statutory deductions such as CPF, income tax, etc.
- Prepare and submit required statutory reports and filings.
- Data Management
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Update payroll systems with new hires, resignations, salary changes, and promotions.
- Responsible for system setup and liaising with the system provider on all system-related issues.
- Reconciliation & Reporting
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports for finance and management (e.g., headcount, cost analysis).
- Employee Support
- Respond to employee queries regarding salary, deductions, and tax matters.
- Provide support for payroll-related audits and documentation.
- Coordination
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll inputs.
- All other payroll-related responsibilities.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing or related role.
- Proficiency in payroll software (Perform System).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Understanding of payroll regulations and labour laws.
- Familiarity with tax systems and statutory requirements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
