Bedok - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage electrical and instrumentation engineering works for industrial and infrastructure projects (focused upon MEPL projects)
• Interpret and provide engineering drawings, technical specifications, and layout plans for electrical and instrumentation systems (proposals / drawings / MOS / RA etc)
• Provide and mark up on As-Built drawings and feedback to the engineering team
• Prepare controls, SLD, liaise with PLC / BMS vendors
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical panels, wiring, sensors, and control systems
• Work closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project timelines and specifications are met
• Perform site inspections, troubleshooting, and resolve technical issues related to E&I scope
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory codes, QA / QC policies, and project requirements
• Perform overall quality control for the project (budgets, scheduling, plans, team performance, supervision and inspection)
• Support procurement and technical evaluation of E&I materials and equipment
• Assist in tender preparation, cost estimator, and project proposal support when required

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or equivalent field(s)
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in E&I works (in managing Additional and Alteration Services in Commercial / Industrial / Plants sectors for MEPL will be a plus)
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes and proficient in reading P&ID, wiring diagrams, and control logic will be advantageous
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and AutoCAD will be a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site
