Safety cum Facility Manager [WSH, Fire Safety, Facilities & Safety] - TRAN - Toa Payoh

Job Responsibilities:

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH):

• Develop, implement, and enforce WSH policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., MOM, NEA, SCDF).
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
• Organize and lead safety training sessions and emergency response drills (e.g., fire drills, first aid).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including incident reports and work permits.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies on safety matters and ensure timely renewal of required certifications.

Facilities Management:

• Manage daily facility operations, including utilities, equipment, infrastructure, and overall cleanliness.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and oversee key building systems such as lighting, HVAC, fire safety, and security.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and environmental regulations.
• Oversee inventory and procurement of maintenance and safety supplies.
• Assist in space planning and layout optimization for operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
• Minimum Diploma or NITEC in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certified WSH Representative or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid understanding of local safety regulations and facility operations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
