What you'll be doing?- Risk Assessment: Support the underwriting team in evaluating risks and determining coverage positions for various insurance products.
- Business Evaluation: Provide preliminary assessments on new business opportunities and renewals, contributing to the company's growth strategy.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and business partners, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Operational Management: Assist in managing daily operations within the underwriting department, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the underwriting team and intermediaries to identify and pursue potential business opportunities.
- Educational Background: Diploma or Degree holders from disciplines such as Management, Business Studies, Actuarial Studies, Accountancy, Mathematics, Statistical Studies, Engineering, or Economics.
- Industry Experience: Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in underwriting support within the non-life re/insurance industry are preferred, but those without relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with Motor insurance is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities, excellent time management, and a collaborative team spirit.
Other Information:
- Working Day: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 830am - 515pm, 9am-5:45pm, 930am-615
- Working Location: 16, Raffles Quay, Hong Leong Building, Singapore 048581
- Salary: $3500 - $5000, Senior candidate is welcomed to apply, compensate according to experience
- Annual leave starts from 21 days
