Job Description

Assist Procurement Manager in the day-to-day operations of department
Source, qualify and negotiate with suppliers, both local and overseas, to fulfill purchase requests at the most competitive price, logistics costs, delivery and quality.
Manage supply chain risks and drive cost savings
Manage purchase requisitions including issuing of purchase orders and monitoring delivery to meet project timelines
Plan, prepare forecasts and analysis relating to Procurement Activities
Manage and optimize all department tools, databases and systems
Follow up Purchase Order acknowledgment
Arrange air and sea flight for incoming and outgoing shipment
Assist in Quality Assurance activities, including ISO
Assist in other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering , or a related discipline
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain functions
Hands-on experience in sourcing, supplier qualification, and price negotiation with both local and overseas suppliers
Good understanding of procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
Strong follow-up and coordination skills, including Purchase Order acknowledgment and delivery monitoring
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP system experience is an advantage
Good communication and negotiation skills
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
