The Role
Yourrole is pivotal to ensuring the successful execution of voyages, involvingtasks such as voyage planning, stowage planning, bunker planning, andconsidering route options. In addition, monitoring the vessel's performance,analyzing voyage data, optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining highstandards of communication with masters, agents, surveyors, including owners,charterers, and internal departments will be key tasks that you will bemeasured on.
Monitoringoperational metrics to identify areas for enhancement and ensuring compliancewith international shipping regulations and company policies will also be partof your role. Within a team of operations personnel, you will promote a cultureof empowerment and accountability.Additionally, you will manage allpost-fixture functions related to voyage and time charter operations, servingas the primary contact person for internal teams and external partners forspecific voyages.
Maintainingregular communication with customers, ships, agents, chartering colleagues, aswell as Port Operations, and keeping them informed will be crucial in yourposition. You’ll have the chance to travel and engage with a variety ofstakeholders, gaining insights and forging relationships that will beinvaluable to your professional development.

Weare looking for an experienced candidate with a background of minimum of 3years or equivalent experience in the maritime industry, ideally with a focuson dry bulk operations. A background in port logistics and/or seafaring isadvantageous as well as proficiency in Maritime Business Software Systems suchas IMOS.
Youwill have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eyefor detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly. Your ability toadapt and respond to dynamic situations will be essential in handlingunforeseen challenges that arise during operations; navigating through problemsolving and mitigating risks are areas where you will be required to havesignificant experience.Your responsibilities will include devising andexecuting strategies to enhance performance and reduce expenses. Collaboratingclosely with different departments, your focus will be on ensuring smoothoperations and customer satisfaction.
