Senior Associate / Assistant Manager, Employment Bridging and Employer Engagement
By deep-diving into the practical day-to-day constraints of these women, we offer hand-holding and individual coaching to help each woman reach regular and sustained employment.
Our clients are women aged 18 to63 from low-income families (living on less than $1500 per capita per month), mostly living in government-subsidized rental flats, and facing multiple stressors in their families. Through sustained employment, women in our employment bridging program regain confidence in themselves and gain a social support network that helps them through their difficult times.
Employment Bridging and Employer Engagement Senior Associate /Assistant Manager
We are seeking a proactive, resourceful and driven individual to join our team as a Senior Associate / Assistant Manager in Employment Bridging. The role focuses on facilitating successful employment outcomes through strong employer engagement, effective job coaching and employment bridging support.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement- Conduct research on selected industry sectors to identify key players, hiring trends, and common job roles.
- Proactively identify, source and develop new employer leads across relevant industries
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with employers, HR teams and hiring managers
- Conduct outreach through cold calls, emails, job fairs, and networking sessions to promote employment partnerships
- Present the organisation’s mission, vision and support services to potential employer partners
- Engage employers in conversations about inclusive hiring, workforce needs and how our clients can meet those needs
- Work closely with internal programme and case management teams to understand beneficiaries’ profiles, skills and readiness
- Match suitable candidates to employer job openings and facilitate referrals
- Coordinate interviews, workplace trials and job placements in collaboration with employers
- Provide employers with post‑placement support and act as a point of contact for any employment‑related issues
- Provide individualized job coaching, including resume writing, interview preparation and workplace readiness
- Support clients in adapting to workplace expectations and addressing challenges
- Conduct regular follow-up with placed clients and employers to ensure job retention
- Support organisational initiatives, events and cross‑departmental projects related to employment outcomes
- Strong business development and relationship‑building skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and employers
- Proactive, self‑motivated and results‑oriented
- Strong organisational and follow‑up skills to manage multiple employer relationships and job leads
- Comfortable attending external events and representing the organisation professionally
- Good report writing and basic data tracking skills
- Diploma/Degree holder; fields such as Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, HR, Business or related areas welcome. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- At least 2-6 years of relevant experience in employer engagement, business development, partnerships or workforce development
- Experience working with employers and HR professionals is preferred
- Experience in the social service, non-profit sector is an advantage
