Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee statutory audit engagements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, SFRS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Review and sign off on statutory audit reports as an authorized signing partner.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and design appropriate audit strategies and procedures.
• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Review audit working papers, evaluate audit evidence, and ensure audit conclusions are well-supported.
• Provide technical guidance on complex audit and accounting issues to internal teams and clients.
• Lead, mentor, and develop audit professionals to maintain high standards of audit quality.
• Ensure audit engagements are completed within budget and timelines.
• Review and enhance internal audit methodologies and procedures in line with professional standards.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the expansion of the firm’s audit practice.

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to sign statutory audit reports in Singapore.
• Professional qualification in Accounting (e.g., CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in external audit within public accounting firms.
• Proven experience managing complex audit engagements and leading audit teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, SFRS, and statutory audit regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Full commitment to the firm’s audit practice (no external freelance audit sign-off engagements).
