About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounting Intern to join our team. This role focuses primarily on bookkeeping and provides hands-on experience in daily accounting operations. It is ideal for students or fresh graduates who are keen to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including data entry and recording of financial transactions
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Support month-end closing activities
- Assist in preparation of financial reports and schedules
- Handle ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks is a plus)
- Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
