Quantity Assurance/Quality Control Engineer (Construction)
About the Company- Salary: Up to $4000 basic + AWS + Bonus
- Working Days: 5.5 days
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am to 12:30pm
- Transport: If under mobile arrangement, transport allowances will be reimbursed
- Work Scope: 60% on-site, 40% documentation
- Minimum 2 years with a main contractor
A well-established construction firm in Singapore with a strong track record in delivering residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The company is recognized for its commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with local regulatory standards, and continues to expand its project portfolio across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all quality control documentation is properly compiled and completed for as-built handover through the QC Turnover Engineer
- Review and prepare reports for authority inspections, including RI inspections and BCA TOP inspections
- Establish, implement, and maintain the Project Quality System in accordance with Singapore standards
- Support application to BCA for CONQUAS assessment and drive efforts to achieve targeted scores
- Monitor and assess the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans on-site
- Ensure QA/QC plans comply with project specifications and contract requirements
- Issue site quality control instructions and follow up on corrective and remedial actions
- Coordinate quality inspections with subcontractors, vendors, and third parties, including non-destructive testing (NDT)
- Distribute QA/QC documentation to all relevant site stakeholders
- Verify that site activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Coordinate all site inspections through QC inspectors
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective actions
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- 2 years of experience with a main contractor
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (recognized by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA))
- Strong understanding of Singapore construction standards and QA/QC procedures
