Class 4 driver - Bukit Batok

DEPARTMENT: LESS THAN CONTAINER LOAD (LCL)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Safely operate a Class 4 commercial vehicle (e.g., trucks, lorries) for the transport of goods, material or equipment.
• Deliver goods to customer within Singapore, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
• Plan and follow delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions and schedules.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is loaded to optimal capacity to minimize the risk of damage and prevent any safety hazards.
• Conduct pre-trip and post trio inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe and working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues or damage to the supervisor and ensure the vehicle is regularly serviced as per company guidelines
• Follow all road safety and traffic regulations to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure safety on the road
• Ensure all deliveries are carried out in compliance with Singapore’s road transport laws and regulations.
• Follow the company policies and procedures for vehicle usage, safety protocols and customer service
• Support the logistic teams with any special projects or tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess at least GCE ‘N’ Level/ GCE ‘O’ Level
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in related field
• Preferable candidates specialize in Logistic
• Possess valid Class 4 Driving License (Manual License)
• Able to move cargo using pallet jack or hand carry,
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads
• Clean driving record
• Ability to walk, drive and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff of different nationalities
