Job Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on various types of bicycles, including road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, etc. This covers tasks such as fixing flat tires, adjusting gears and brakes, repairing or replacing chains, and aligning wheels.
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately based on customer descriptions and hands-on inspection. Provide clear explanations of the problems and recommended solutions to customers.
- Assemble new bicycles according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring they are properly adjusted and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment. Keep track of inventory of repair parts and notify the manager when supplies are low.
- Offer professional advice to customers on bike care, maintenance routines, and suitable accessories to enhance their cycling experience.
- Proven work experience as a Bicycle Mechanic, with a solid understanding of bicycle mechanics and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with different bike brands and models, as well as various components and their functions.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of bike repair tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete repairs with high quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy bikes, and perform repetitive tasks.
- A valid driver's license is a plus, but not mandatory.
