Technical Drafter cum Marketing Assistant
Job Purpose
The Technical Drafter cum Marketing Assistant is responsible for translating design concepts and site requirements into precise, high-quality shop drawings. This role acts as the technical bridge between the project management team, the production facility, and the site installation crew, ensuring all materials are accounted for and comply with industry standards.
Roles and Responsibility
This role requires individual to work independently within a growing SME.
The roles and responsibility notwithstanding the following:
- Produce detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and final as-built drawings for interior fit-out and construction works
- Perform on-site measurements and verification of dimensions, connections, and details before fabrication begins
- Work closely with Quantity Surveyors, Quality Supervisors and Production Teams to explain technical details and provide real-time adjustments for erection or installation
- Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, company quality standards, and local building regulations
- Manage drawing timelines for multiple concurrent projects through effective workload prioritization
- Analyze, interpret, and update drawings
- Update content creation for website, catalogues or brochures
- Support business development with the necessary marketing collaterals - presentation decks, success stories and others
- Work closely with other departments to build cross-functional cohesion
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple submission schedules
Perform any other ad-hoc tasks related to the scope of demand generation and marketing
Prerequisites:
- Ability to produce accurate and quality work within tight deadlines
- Minimum Diploma in Marketing or other related field
- Minimum 2 years' working experience in a marketing role supporting search, programmatic display, social, email etc
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop (required)
- Solid understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver actionable recommendations through data analysis to influence business decisions and strategies
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized and pro-active with excellent attention to detail
- Prior experience in project and stakeholder management
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Maintain an organized indexing and filing system for all digital and hardcopy drawings
Experience: Prior experience in the Singapore construction industry or interior fit-out sector is highly advantageous.
