Engineering Manager - Bukit Batok

Job Description:

• Lead and manage a multi-discipline engineering team (Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Instrumentation & Control, etc.)
• Ensure that all engineering deliverables meet project scope, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively across multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate engineering activities with procurement, project management, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Manage design reviews, technical validations, and inter-discipline coordination.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications (e.g., IEC, ASME, API, BS, etc.)
• Provide engineering leadership during project execution, including technical resolution of site issues.
• Interface with clients, vendors, authorities, and third-party agencies for engineering matters.
• Support proposal and estimation efforts during project bidding stages.
• Develop and implement engineering workflows, quality assurance procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and develop engineers to build a high-performing, collaborative team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field); Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary engineering teams in complex projects (EPC, industrial, power, infrastructure, etc.)
• Strong understanding of engineering standards, project lifecycle, and document control practices.
• Proficient in engineering tools and platforms (AutoCAD, STAAD, ETAP, EPLAN, Revit, etc. as applicable)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is an advantage.
