About the role
Unimarine Pte. Ltd. is seeking a driven and experienced Marine Industry Key Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving new business development across South East Asia. As part of our sales function, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and building long-term partnerships within the marine industry.This full-time position is based in our Raffles Place office in the Central Region.
What you'll be doing- Prospect and Develop New Customers: Identify and develop new customer accounts within the assigned markets.
- Sales Techniques: Utilize cold calling, customer mapping, territory planning, and opportunity qualification to drive sales.
- Value Selling: Upsell and propose improvements to current lubricant lifting practices for fleets.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs and ensure retention.
- Sales Growth: Achieve volume targets set by the management team and manage customer debt in collaboration with the finance department.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations and supply teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries across various territories and time zones.
- Focus on ROI: Optimize time and energy to provide value to both customers and shareholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor sales performance and figures daily.
- Effective Communication: Leverage strong communication skills to work with diverse groups of people across different cultures and backgrounds.
- At least of 1 year in Marine Lubricants Sales experience is mandatory
- Strong value selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Fluency in English and at least one other regional language is an advantage
- A driven, self-motivated mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
