Senior/Analytical Scientist (Specialty Chemicals)
THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Specialty Chemicals industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Senior/Analytical Scientist as part of their expansion plans within APAC, reporting to the Technical Team Leader.
THE ROLE
The Senior/Analytical Scientist is responsible for:
- Lead method development, optimization, and validation for specialty chemical products.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and thermal analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product innovation, scale-up, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with global quality and safety standards, mentor junior scientists and contribute to building organizational expertise.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in analytical sciences within the specialty chemicals sector.
- Hands-on expertise with HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, and NMR instrumentation.
- Strong proficiency in modern analytical techniques and data interpretation and experience with regulatory frameworks and quality systems.
