Commercial Manager

To include but not limited to:

• Identify, analyze, develop and advise relevant new business opportunities within the designated business unit or department.

• Negotiate, draft and close contracts in accordance with commercial and legal procedures and guidelines. Collaborate with legal department/contract manager/operations to resolve contractual and commercial issues.
• Formulate and develop the strategy-to-win and challenge the tender team to make a competitive offer.
• Agree on the deployment of subcontractors within budget and project frameworks in order to generate maximum returns, in consultation with the Project Manager/Procurement department.
• Maintain relationships with clients and other relevant parties through regular communication in order to promote Boskalis' services, spot opportunities for all Boskalis' business units and divisions, and optimize client satisfaction.
• Provide commercial information and other input on inquiries, contracts, visit reports, competitive information and client information to the relevant databases, for use in the sales plan and to increase sales potential.
• Be responsible for KPI reporting for management, use analytics to propose required actions to reach commercial objectives
• Responsible for working in compliance with the relevant SHE-Q policies and ensures continuous improvement.

Other requirements:

• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Average skills in ICT Office applications and ERP systems

Experience:

• 5 years experience in a commercial/maritime environment
