BIM Drafter [6 months contract - Renewable] - Construction & ELV Projects | Up to $3.8k | 0580

• Location: Outram Road
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri [830am – 6pm]
• Salary: Up to $3800

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and accurate 3D Building Information Models (BIM) using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Create Revit Families/Components in accordance with project specifications and industry standards (LOD 500).
• Produce precise 2D construction drawings and detailed documentation, ensuring compliance with Singapore’s codes, standards, and regulations.
• Attend site meetings and coordination sessions when required.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to incorporate design inputs into BIM models.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP systems using Navisworks or equivalent tools.
• Continuously update and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Extract quantity take-offs for cost estimation, procurement, and construction planning.
• Perform quality assurance checks on BIM deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support progress/work-done claims with relevant documentation and as-built drawings.
• Provide guidance and training to junior team members or colleagues on BIM tools and workflows.
• Handle drafting responsibilities, including schematic diagrams, shop drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Carry out general administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to a positive office environment.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction or engineering industry.
• Familiar with ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) systems and security systems.
• Strong knowledge of drafting practices using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in BIM tools, especially Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Familiar with BIM workflows, practices, and submission standards in the Singapore construction industry.
• Excellent 2D drafting and 3D modeling skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and convert them into BIM models.
• Prior experience in a similar BIM or drafting role within the Singapore AEC industry is an advantage.
• Attend weekly and adhoc on-site meeting
