The Role:

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who gets excited about two things:

  1. Winning new business
  2. Building relationships that last

This is not a boiler-room sales job. You’ll need to be consultative, creative, and strategic. Our best clients stay for years — not just one project. So while hustle matters, EQ and trust-building matter more.

You’ll work closely with our founders (husband-and-wife team), sales lead, and creative team. You’ll be supported by solid internal tools like our Proposal Builder and Budget Builder so you’re not wasting time designing decks or chasing down numbers.

Focus stays where it should: listening to clients, crafting the right approach, and getting deals over the line.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across B2B sectors
  • Lead client pitches with support from the creative and ops team
  • Build proposals that excite — not just tick boxes
  • Nurture leads from first hello to signed-off job
  • Maintain and grow existing relationships for repeat business
  • Meet monthly sales targets (base + commission applies)
  • Represent GO at events, meetings, and the occasional site recce

Who You Are:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales, account management, or BD (events/marketing/media is a plus, but not a must)
  • Clear communicator, strong with both people and written decks
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone or show up to meet someone in person
  • Organised enough to use a CRM and track your leads
  • Comfortable with sales targets but not pushy — you know when to close and when to wait
  • You like working with a fun, driven team and want to grow with a company that’s scaling fast
