About the role

Our client, an import and export company, is seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to join their team. In this full-time position based in the Chinatown Central Region, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and expansion for the organisation.

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand client base
• Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to secure new contracts
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients through excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Researching and analysing market trends and competitors to identify and capitalise on new growth areas
• Collaborating cross-functionally with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives
• Contributing to the overall growth and strategic direction of the company

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the Sales and Business Development industry
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with key stakeholders
• Excellent research and analytical skills to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
• Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field

Duration / Working hours:

• Permanent
• Monday- Friday; 44 hours per week
