About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Embedded Systems Engineer to join a leading aerospace technology environment supporting advanced drone systems and aviation solutions.
You will be involved in the design and development of electronic hardware and embedded firmware for drone applications, working closely with a dynamic engineering team to deliver reliable and high-performance systems.
This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who enjoy electronics design, PCB development, firmware programming, and problem-solving in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities- Research and define reliable hardware architecture for drone electronic systems
- Design and develop electronic circuit schematics and PCB layouts
- Source and evaluate suitable electronic components for product development
- Generate Gerber files and support PCB fabrication processes
- Develop embedded firmware using C/C++ programming language
- Perform PCB assembly testing, troubleshooting, and validation
- Utilize testing instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers for debugging
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and test reports
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure product quality and performance
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electronic hardware and firmware design
- Experience in analog and digital circuit design
- Familiar with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and embedded systems architecture
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, and Ethernet
- Proficient in PCB and schematic design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Autodesk EAGLE, or equivalent
- Proficient in embedded C/C++ programming
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills using electronic test equipment
