Cybersecurity Operations Specialist
We are looking for a hands-on Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to support day-to-day cybersecurity operations across the organization. This role will be responsible for security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, security awareness initiatives, and the administration of enterprise security platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a strong operational cybersecurity background and enjoy working closely with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to strengthen the organization's security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations- Monitor and triage security alerts, incidents, and notifications.
- Investigate security events and support incident response activities.
- Follow up on critical security issues with internal teams and vendors.
- Prepare regular security reports and threat summaries.
- Plan and execute phishing simulation campaigns.
- Coordinate cybersecurity awareness programmes and user training.
- Prepare security communications and awareness materials.
- Monitor and track vulnerabilities across systems and endpoints.
- Work with IT teams to ensure timely remediation.
- Perform periodic reviews to ensure endpoint security coverage and compliance.
- Support and maintain enterprise security platforms, including: Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)Identity and Access Management solutions, Email security, Secure Web Gateway, and DLP solutions
- Assist with troubleshooting, configuration reviews, and policy tuning.
- Support access reviews, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
- Coordinate remediation activities and maintain audit documentation.
- Support cybersecurity projects, testing activities, and issue tracking.
- Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations or IT security.
- Hands-on experience in: Security monitoring and incident response, Vulnerability management, Security awareness and phishing simulations, Endpoint and identity security platforms
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Entra ID, ManageEngine, or similar solutions will be advantageous.
- Good understanding of security standards such as ISO 27001, PDPA, or PCI-DSS is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
