About the role
As a Bus Captain at Transtar Travel Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations. This full-time role is based in the Central Region and involves operating buses to provide efficient and reliable transportation services.Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring the safety of all passengers.
What you'll be doing- Safely operate buses in accordance with traffic laws and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Respond to and report any incidents or emergencies that occur during the journey
- Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and disembarking as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
- A valid bus driving licence with a good driving record
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
