Project Engineer/Product Owner

As a Project Engineer / Product Owner in OSIM’s Mechanical Technology department, you will play a key role in the development and successful launch of our innovative and industry-leading well-being products.

You will work on exciting product development projects that involve cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, and operations. In this role, you will help transform emerging technologies and ideas into commercially successful wellness solutions while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Research, source, and evaluate emerging technologies and well-being innovations to support OSIM’s product roadmap.
• Explore new product concepts and assess opportunities to integrate innovative technologies into OSIM products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to do competitive analysis and build strong business cases for new product concepts and technology integration.

• Develop detailed product specifications including product features, functional requirements, performance targets, and quality standards.
• Translate product concepts into clear technical requirements for engineering and product development teams.

• Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of product development projects from concept and prototype to market launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications, features & functions, sample stages, deliverables, and product launch timelines.
• Oversee the implementation of project plans, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve product-related challenges during development.
• Conduct trade-off analysis and make informed decisions to ensure projects stay aligned with business commitments.
• Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

• Support team collaboration and alignment to successfully bring new products to market.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the technology industry, handling Product Innovation, Product Owner, Project Management or similar roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical and business decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• A creative thinker with strong vision, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willing and able to travel overseas when required.
