About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Data Automation Specialist. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting automation solutions to improve data workflows, reporting, and business processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Python and SQL skills who enjoys problem-solving and turning manual processes into efficient automated systems.

• Work with business users to gather requirements and understand data needs
• Design and develop automation solutions using Python and SQL
• Build and maintain batch data processing systems for reporting and analytics
• Support ad-hoc data requests, analysis, and troubleshooting
• Ensure proper documentation for all solutions developed

• Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, formulas, data validation; VBA a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Python programming (e.g., pandas, automation scripts, APIs)
• Strong SQL skills (querying, joins, stored procedures, data handling)
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalent)
• Good problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

Bonus Skills (advantageous but not mandatory):

• Experience with ETL/data pipelines
• Knowledge of RPA tools or workflow automation
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
