Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MTBM Operator to manage and operate Micro Tunnel Boring Machines for underground pipe jacking and utility tunnel projects in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Operate TBM and MTBM machines to excavate metro, sewer, or utility tunnels safely and efficiently
Monitor machine parameters such as thrust, torque, and pressure to ensure optimal machine performance and prevent malfunctions
Perform cutterhead inspections and conduct routine maintenance to maintain machine reliability and minimize downtime
Record daily tunneling progress accurately to track project status and support reporting requirements
Follow all safety procedures and workplace health guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Required competencies and certifications

Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites certificate (formerly CSOC) to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Demonstrate 3–5 years of experience operating TBM or MTBM machines in relevant tunneling projects

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Hold a Diploma or Technical Certificate in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Communicate effectively in basic English to support teamwork and coordination
Be immediately available to join the project
