Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and controlled processes for the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, ensuring adherence to cleanroom manufacturing standards (end-to-end process and including leak check/functional test)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to facilitate the release and improvement of existing and new products, managing engineering change requests (ECRs) as needed to support design, quality, and operations.
  • Estimate manufacturing work definition, cycle time standards, and provide recommendations for tooling, process improvements, and quality assurance to optimize product quality and production efficiency.
  • Design and employ robust test procedures and scripts, working closely with design and software engineering teams to define testing specifications and develop test fixtures for cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments.
  • Collect and evaluate operational and test data, conducting analysis to support corrective and continuous improvement initiatives, and actively lead and participate in Engineering Continuous Improvement reviews.
  • Assess and refine work methods, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with cleanroom protocols, documenting current practices, and maintaining a knowledge base for new and transferred products.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for assembly and testing issues, prepare failure analysis reports, and implement corrective actions to mitigate reoccurrence.
  • Perform Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) as part of new product development processes, focusing on the cleanroom environment's unique challenges.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).or related field.
  • Possess at least 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in semiconductor, electronics, or engineering industries, with a preference for cleanroom manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, Power Apps, Power BI; Design software experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro, and Inventor for tooling and fixture development.
  • Familiarity with software programming languages, including Python, VBA, LabVIEW, and C++ for developing test scripts and automation.
  • Added advantage for candidates with a background or knowledge in Industrial Engineering (IE) to optimize process efficiency and productivity.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels globally and the flexibility to participate in meetings across various time zones.
  • Willingness to work in a Class 100 ISO 5 Cleanroom Environment.
