Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect to join our IT organization within an end-user environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with regional business units to understand their needs and guide them on architectural decisions that align with enterprise standards, best practices, and long-term business goals.You will serve as a trusted advisor and technical partner, influencing architecture topics across applications, infrastructure, data, and integration domains.
Key Responsibilities
Business Engagement & Advisory:
- Act as a primary architecture liaison between IT and regional business units.
- Understand business strategies and operational needs to shape technology solutions accordingly.
- Provide guidance on IT investment decisions, technology adoption, and solutiondesign
Architecture Governance & Standards:
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, roadmaps, and policies.
- Review and validate solution architectures to ensure consistency with target architectures.
- Participate in architecture review boards and governance forums.
Solution Design & Delivery:
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectural designs.
- Lead or support the design of cross-functional solutions involving applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams, external vendors, and IT stakeholders during implementation phases
Strategic Planning & Innovation:
- Contribute to the development of long-term IT architecture strategy and roadmaps.
- Identify technology trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Advocate for modern architecture practices, including cloud adoption, API-led integration, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, preferably in complex, global organizations.
- Proven experience influencing architecture decisions in an end-user environment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Broad understanding of IT domains including applications, infrastructure, cloud, security, and data architecture.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills.
- Experience working in multi-regional or global environments is a plus.
