Media OutReach Newswire is seeking a driven Corporate Business Development Manager with a preferred background in public relations, communications, investor relations, or media intelligence sales.
Candidates with direct experience selling marketing, public relations and communications SaaS solutions are especially encouraged to apply, as your industry knowledge will translate directly into client impact.
Account managers from public relations and communications agencies as well as communications professionals looking to transition into a strategic business development role are highly encouraged to apply. We will provide structured sales skills training to help you transition into a business development role.
Your Responsibilities- Strategically identify and acquire new corporate clients to expand our Singapore and Southeast Asia footprint.
- Engage with client stakeholders to showcase our AI-driven newswire distribution and reporting capabilities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, supported by a world-class client-servicing team.
- Demonstrate the tenacity to develop long-term business relationships and the independence to manage your own portfolio.
- Report directly to the Managing Partner, Southeast Asia.
- Preferred Experience: University graduate with over 4 years' experience in either public relations, corporate communications, investor relations, marketing, or sales. Prior sales experience in public relations and communications tech/SaaS (e.g. newswire, media intelligence) is a strong plus.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to develop a strategic sales plan and pipeline, with the tenacity and discipline to consistently drive performance.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to find and nurture leads, build lasting client relationships, and engage stakeholders at varying seniority levels.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English, including compelling presentation skills. Self-driven, independent, and well-organised.
- Attributes: Self-driven, independent operator with disciplined time-management and a relentless focus on achieving goals.
