Summary:

Position: Assistant Project Manager (Electrical)
Project: Retail Mall / Healthcare Project
Basic Salary: Up to $5,000, with allowance up to $1,100, Variable Bonus

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (Electrical) to support project delivery in the retail mall or healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

Site troubleshooting and coordination skills when dealing with customers.
Ensure the quality of materials and installations by suppliers and subcontractors complies with ISO quality standards.
Coordinate, monitor, and control the quality of materials, equipment, and installations provided by suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare shop drawings and ensure proper coordination of construction and technical drawings.
Develop and manage work schedules; attend client and internal meetings as required.
Assist the manager in daily operational tasks, including adherence to the master schedule, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
Maintain proper coordination with the main contractor to prevent rework and project delays.
Manage site materials and equipment efficiently to minimize wastage.
Communicate proactively with suppliers and subcontractors to avoid delivery delays that may impact project progress.
Identify and address non-conforming products or installations to prevent defects.
Explore and implement new technologies and installation methods to enhance productivity.
Closely monitor site progress and maintain clear communication with subcontractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering & at least 3-5 years relevant managerial’ experience in M&E contracting environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9000 / OSHAS 18000 (Minimum Requirement)
ISO Internal Quality Auditor
Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course
Exposure to retail mall or hospital facility developments will be a strong plus.
Apply sound engineering knowledge, particularly in design, and possess a solid understanding of building services codes and practices when providing solutions to customers.
