About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Desktop Support Engineer (Level 1) to provide on-site IT support for various government institutions across Singapore. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues related to client platforms, ensuring uninterrupted day-to-day IT operations for end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.
  • Respond to incidents in a timely manner, investigate root causes, and implement temporary or permanent fixes.
  • Fulfill service requests and ensure user satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on incident and request statuses.
  • Monitor and maintain systems in line with agreed service levels.
  • Participate in system configuration, documentation, and reporting.
  • Assist in client platform implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Conduct research and evaluation of new tools or technologies to improve client platform services.
  • Offer technical advice to internal teams or end users when required.
  • Manage changes through a proper change management process, providing status updates.
  • Support presales activities by gathering infrastructure/application requirements and performing technical analysis and design.
  • Ensure service levels are met; propose and implement corrective action plans if required.
  • Establish and adhere to facility management standards and best practices to maintain consistent operations.

Requirements:

  • Good command in English to liaise with different entities
  • Candidate must possess at least NITEC/Higher NITEC and above
  • Min 1 year experience

Details:

  • Working hrs : 7am -4pm or 8am - 5pm or 10am – 7pm (based on Project arrangement)
