About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Desktop Support Engineer (Level 1) to provide on-site IT support for various government institutions across Singapore. You will be responsible for resolving technical issues related to client platforms, ensuring uninterrupted day-to-day IT operations for end users.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices.
- Respond to incidents in a timely manner, investigate root causes, and implement temporary or permanent fixes.
- Fulfill service requests and ensure user satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on incident and request statuses.
- Monitor and maintain systems in line with agreed service levels.
- Participate in system configuration, documentation, and reporting.
- Assist in client platform implementation or upgrade projects.
- Conduct research and evaluation of new tools or technologies to improve client platform services.
- Offer technical advice to internal teams or end users when required.
- Manage changes through a proper change management process, providing status updates.
- Support presales activities by gathering infrastructure/application requirements and performing technical analysis and design.
- Ensure service levels are met; propose and implement corrective action plans if required.
- Establish and adhere to facility management standards and best practices to maintain consistent operations.
Requirements:
- Good command in English to liaise with different entities
- Candidate must possess at least NITEC/Higher NITEC and above
- Min 1 year experience

- Working hrs : 7am -4pm or 8am - 5pm or 10am – 7pm (based on Project arrangement)
