Our client, a leading Japanese chemical manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Reports To: Section Manager/Manager

• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as required.
• Support the company’s Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for routine and ad-hoc maintenance work.
• Monitor and manage the routine maintenance schedule.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance within the facility.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance in all facility-related maintenance activities.
• Conduct safety inductions and training for contractors before work begins.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in the chemical industry.
• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the chemical industry.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, Risk Assessment, and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

• Possession of a LEW license (Licensed Electrical Worker) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is an added advantage.
