Geylang - Senior Network Engineer (CCIE Certified)

This role requires in-depth expertise in Cisco technologies, network security, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and support scalable and secure network infrastructures (LAN/WAN, data centers, cloud, and remote sites).
• Lead and manage high-level network projects including migrations, upgrades, and new installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align networking with business needs.
• Implement and maintain network security standards (VPN, ACLs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Conduct periodic audits and performance tuning of network devices.
• Document network architecture, processes, and updates.
• Provide L3-level support and mentor junior network staff.
• Maintain compliance with security protocols and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Cisco CCIE Certification (Routing & Switching, Enterprise Infrastructure, or equivalent) – Mandatory
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (ASA, Firepower), and wireless solutions.
• Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, QoS, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure), SD-WAN, and network automation tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, and NetFlow.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ansible) for automation.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
• Understanding of ITIL framework and practices.
