Are you passionate about the law and eager to make a meaningful impact through your work? We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our team on a 7-month contract and help shape the future of our organization through sound legal strategy and guidance.
What You will be doing
As our Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting our leadership and teams by:
- Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement policies and strategic initiatives.
- Drafting and reviewing legal instruments, including legislation and subsidiary regulations.
- Providing clear, practical legal advice on a wide range of issues across corporate, regulatory, and commercial domains.
- Preparing and vetting contracts, MOUs, tenancy agreements, and tender documents.
- Creating and delivering legal training content for internal teams.
- Building a centralized repository of legal guidance and best practices.
- Advising on risk management and dispute resolution strategies.
- Coordinating with external legal counsel when needed.
- Taking on special projects and tasks as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome applicants who bring:
- A recognized law degree and admission to the Bar, 5PQE.
- Strong analytical and drafting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience in public sector or regulatory work is a plus, but not required.
