About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Executive to support our trading operations across the agri-commodity supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in supply chain and trading operations.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of trade orders, shipments, documentation, and payments.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Trade Entry:
Accurately process purchase and sales orders, ensuring timely booking of commodities and forex requirements.
Shipment Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to plan and execute shipments. Monitor delivery schedules and proactively manage delays or risks.
Goods Release & Documentation:
Validate release requests by checking pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines. Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with internal and external requirements.
Inventory & Transaction Monitoring:
Track and reconcile daily trade entries against actual orders. Identify and resolve discrepancies in coordination with relevant departments.
Payment & Invoice Support:
Assist in verifying invoices and supporting documents. Coordinate with finance to ensure timely payments and maintain accurate payment records.
Reporting & Data Management:
Prepare weekly operational updates and monthly reports on stock positions, open orders, and shipment status.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Food Processing, International trade or related field.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic business systems
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced trading environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Experience:
No prior experience required.
