Geylang - Journalist cum Sub-Editor, Young Audience

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our ZBSchools team which produces Chinese content, student publications and digital products for students aged 7 to 18. Our titles include Thumbs Up Litter Junior (小小拇指)，Thumbs Up Junior (小拇指)，Thumbs Up (大拇指), zbCOMMA (逗号), and our main digital platform is ZBSchools.sg.

As a Journalist cum Sub-Editor, you will be expected to:

• Brainstorm, conduct interviews, produce quality written content and design page layout for Student Publications targeted at our audience
• Conceptualise and work in a team to create original Chinese content for digital platforms, including videos, social media posts and campaigns
• Develop plans to grow outreach and engagement for digital/social media platforms
• Manage outreach projects/events
• Support digital creative projects/live events on social media/digital platforms
• Assist to manage and maintain digital and social media platforms

• Diploma/Degree in relevant disciplines; relevant working experience and experience in video production would be advantageous
• Effectively bilingual in written/spoken English and Chinese as this role supports Chinese Publications
• Highly creative, passionate and able to create entertaining and informative content for students
• Organised and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Knowledge of In-Design, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Audacity or other media editing software would be advantageous
