Plant & Maintenance Engineer

JOB SCOPE – PLANT & MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of the following plants:

• Incineration plant
• Distillation plant
• Shredder Plant
• Wastewater treatment plant

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily plant operations and all equipment, including hydro-testing, certification, upgrading, and repairs
• Supervising plant engineers and operators to ensure high productivity, efficiency, and safety standards
• Planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Managing suppliers, subcontractors, and maintenance teams for repairs, upgrades, and new installations
• Liaising with customers and supporting project work at customer sites when required
• Maintaining accurate records (e.g. repair logs, operation logs, EHS checklists, maintenance plans)
• Ensuring full compliance with safety requirements, risk assessments, and applicable government regulations

Work environment: Approximately 40% field-based work (plant / customer site); role is not fully office-based.
