Our client is a Marine and Offshore Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

Manage all mechanical aspects of lab setups for in-house FAT, including selection of couplings and gearboxes.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting and resolve mechanical system issues throughout all project stages, including development, setup, FAT, SAT, and warranty support.
Lead mechanical system design activities across all stages of development.
Produce detailed mechanical drawings to ensure clear communication with suppliers.
Develop standardized systems and process flows to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and ensure consistent quality.

Requirements:

Hands on experience with vessel mechanical and engine systems.
Experience with engineering design software (SOLIDWORKS)
