Associate Executive, Food Services (7-month contract / Food Nutrition)

You will assist the Food Services Department in the provision of well balanced, good quality meals to all patients and provide administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Process and check patient meal orders from EMOS system (Electronic Meal Ordering System).
- Perform quality check and meal dishing, thus ensuring patients receive their correct meal based on patient’s prescribed therapeutic diet, diet consistencies and preferences.
- Assist in training of Food Services Staff on therapeutic diets preparation and texture-modified diet.
- Ensure all information and tasks designated are carried out in a timely manner to support Food Services in providing a safe and accurate meal for all patients.
- Assist the department in ensuring good hygiene standards are always maintained.
- Support and work closely with dietitians, speech therapists, and nursing staff to manage patient’s therapeutic conditions and requirements.
- Perform nutritional analysis of recipe, menu, and patients’ 3-day food record when necessary.
- Support the purchasing team in procurement and managing of inventory.
- Support for special catering and event in F&B services.
- Support the department in the relevant documentation necessary for ISO 22000 accreditation, HalMQ requirement, or other hospital quality audits or accreditation.
- Provides general administrative duties include minutes taking, assisting in collation of eCatering request, monthly financial, and meal collation report.
- Participate in continuing professional development and competency training as required.
- Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Applied Food Science and Nutrition or equivalent
- Preferably 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience
- Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Positive and motivated individual
Note: For this position, you are required to work half day Saturday (Morning) once a month.
