Job Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share in the metal recycling sector.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new customers in local and overseas markets.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of trade with customers and suppliers.
- Work closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present business proposals, sales forecasts, and performance reports to management.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
- Drive continuous improvement in customer engagement and sales processes.
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the metal recycling, commodities, or trading industry.
- Strong knowledge of scrap metal categories, recycling processes, and global trading practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven, with proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Ability to travel locally and overseas when required.
- Independent, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
