Senior/Manufacturing Engineer (CI & Automation)
THE COMPANY
Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Manufacturing & Automation industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer as part of their expansion plans in Singapore, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
THE ROLE
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for:
- Drive Lean/CI projects i.e. Six Sigma, Kaizen to reduce waste, improve cycle time, and boost yield.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA for manufacturing issues and analyze data to uncover inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Identify, design, and implement automation solutions i.e. robotics, PLCs, vision systems.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and standardize processes, develop work instructions, and ensure best practices adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, with strong CI and automation experience.
- Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred).
- Experience with PLC programming, robotics, or industrial automation systems.
