Pet Shop Assistant
About the role
We are looking for a part-time Pet Shop Assistant to join our friendly team at reputable Cat Shop in the Central area. As a Pet Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for providing love and care services to our cats & kittens, maintaining the store's cleanliness and organisation, and assisting customers with their pet-related needs.
What you'll be doing- Day to day maintenance of cleanliness and organisation of our cat shop
- Caring for pets in the store, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing
- Restocking shelves and ensuring the store is well-organised and presentable
- Providing advice and recommendations to customers on pet products and care
- Performing other general retail duties as required
- Experience in taking care of cats or cat owner or previous experience in pet related working environment
- Passion for Cats and a desire to provide excellent care service to cats
- Responsible & Diligent & Enjoy working in a cat environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and available to work part-time, including evenings and weekends
