Our client is a Bank seeking a seasoned Regulatory Compliance professional to ensure the business adheres to regulatory guidelines and contribute to our robust regulatory framework.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on a broad range of MAS regulations, guidelines, notices, and ensure the business complies with all relevant policies and procedures
• Interpret, implementing, and advise on complex regulatory requirements across Banking Act, Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and Financial Advisers Act (FAA)
• Assist in managing relationships with regulatory authorities, including coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries, surveys, and information requests.
• Support regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring all required documentation and information are provided accurately and promptly
• Contribute to the formulation, review, and maintenance of the bank's compliance policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory standards
• Actively monitor, track, and analyze new and evolving regulatory developments
• Participate in regional or global initiatives if any
• Conduct regular bank-wide training to all staff to raise promote a compliant culture and keep them informed of new regulations

• Bachelors Degree from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the Banking industry
• Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape (e.g., Banking Act, SFA, FAA, MAS Notices)
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with regulators, external authorities and all levels of internal stakeholders
• Proven ability to articulate complex regulatory concepts clearly and persuasively
