Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant English Teacher to support the lead teacher in delivering high-quality English instruction to students. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about language learning, patient with learners of diverse abilities, and eager to contribute to a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead English teacher in planning and delivering lessons in grammar, reading, writing, and speaking.
• Provide individual and small-group support to students who need extra help.
• Prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and classroom activities.
• Support classroom management and help maintain a disciplined and respectful environment.
• Grade assignments, monitor student progress, and provide feedback.
• Help organize school events, reading activities, or English language competitions.
• Perform administrative duties such as record keeping and attendance tracking.
• Participate in teacher meetings and professional development workshops.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field.
• Prior experience in a classroom setting or tutoring role is an advantage.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with students.
