Automation Engineer (PLC/SCADA/DCS) - Up to $6000

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Automation Engineer to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of industrial automation systems. The successful candidate will be involved in PLC/DCS programming, SCADA development, system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project execution within large-scale industrial environments.

• Develop, program, and maintain PLC, SCADA, and DCS control systems.
• Perform automation software development, testing, validation, and debugging.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and onsite troubleshooting activities.
• Integrate industrial equipment, field instruments, HMIs, and control systems.
• Prepare technical documentation, functional design specifications, test reports, and project records.
• Participate in customer discussions, technical reviews, and project implementation activities.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure system reliability, operational performance, and compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical support during project execution and post-commissioning phases.

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Control & Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration projects.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms:
• Siemens PLC, TIA Portal, WinCC
• Emerson DeltaV / DCS
• SCADA and HMI systems
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, and Modbus.
• Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support activities.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite for project implementation and support as required.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation and PLC software development.
• Proven experience in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Exposure to Robotics, Motion Control, MES, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Experience in project coordination, technical leadership, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
