Job Description: (Oracle DBA with automation skillset)
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle databases (including RAC and Data Guard environments).
- Manage database security, user access, and compliance.
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.
- Monitor database health, performance, and capacity planning. • Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating routine DBA tasks such as backups, patching, monitoring, and reporting.
- Design and implement automated solutions for database provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
- Streamline and standardize database operational processes through automation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to add recommendations to ensure optimal application performance with Oracle.
- Must be willing to work on 24x7 rotational shift. Weekend support as needed. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.
