DTL Systems - Maintenance Engineer

Responsibility
- Lead and manage a team of Assistant Engineers/Technicians for the maintenance activities of DTL Systems.
- Responsible for failure analysis and investigation DTL Systems.
- Responsible for the replacement program for DTL Systems.
- Responsible for cost saving, improvement and upgrading work for DTL Systems.
- Lead, manage and support maintenance team for DTL Systems to meet the required standards of safety, reliability and availability.
- Assist Section Head to writing maintenance and project plan rules and procedures, safety plans and reports.
- Assist Section Head to achieve ISO certifications, if required.
- Collaborate with the contractors for the defect and modification work to ensure a smooth process.
- Audit of maintenance work for improvement and productivity.
- Study and analyse the faults and propose for improvement.
- Assist Section Head to monitor all modifications and upgrading of the equipment in the communications/control systems.
- Assist Section Head to manage and develop Work Instructions and Specifications for maintenance of the equipment and sub systems.
- Monitor and conduct regular audit on the maintenance of the equipment and process
- Assist Section Head to manage and review R&P/Work Instruction periodically.
- Conduct investigation for incidents and delays related to DTL Systems.
- Ensure the competency level of the maintenance staffs.
- Develop, plan and conduct of in-house DTL Systems' course according to WSQ for maintenance staffs.
- Assess the staff's competency after training to ensure it meets the required standards and competency for the job.
- Assist in planning and coordinating of new and existing staff training plan.
- Assist Section Head for any A&A, upgrading and project work.
- Recognize degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering
- Knowledge in computer hardware and software applications.
- Experience in maintenance of Railway Communication/Control Systems
- Experience in testing and commissioning of Communication/Control Systems
- Hands-on experience in start-up operations
