Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Project Engineer to support and manage electrical and ELV projects. The candidate will be involved in project coordination, technical execution, and ensuring compliance with Singapore construction standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Management- Assist Project Manager in planning and managing project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Monitor project progress and propose adjustments where necessary
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors
- Attend site meetings and facilitate communication among stakeholders
- Identify project risks and recommend improvement measures
- Read and interpret electrical and ELV schematic drawings
- Perform basic engineering design, load calculations, and fault analysis
- Ensure all installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications
- Provide technical support to site teams and resolve engineering issues during installation, testing, and commissioning
- Review project specifications and contract documents
- Prepare and submit variation orders where required
- Maintain proper documentation including reports, progress updates, and project records
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure smooth site execution
- Ensure compliance with Singapore building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
- Monitor quality control and ensure project deliverables meet required standards
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical or ELV projects
- Familiar with Singapore construction standards, materials, and regulations
- Experience in industrial or commercial projects preferred
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese
