The Role
We are seeking a versatile and strategic Content Copywriter to conceptualize, develop, and execute high-impact content across social media, EDMs, newsletters, and the web. This is not just a writing role; it’s a thinking role. You will be instrumental in developing content strategies and pillars from the ground up, generating innovative ideas, and bringing them to life with compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and achieves client objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Ideation:
- Collaborate with account managers and strategists to develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with client business goals.
- Define and establish content pillars and thematic calendars that provide a clear framework for all content initiatives.
- Lead and participate in brainstorms to generate fresh, innovative content ideas and campaign concepts for clients across diverse industries.
- Conduct audience and competitor research to inform strategy and ensure content is relevant and impactful.
- Content Creation & Execution:
- Write clear, persuasive, and brand-consistent copy for a variety of channels, including:
- Social Media: Engaging posts, carousel copy, video scripts, and campaign hashtags for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
- EDMs (Email Direct Marketing): compelling subject lines, body copy, and calls-to-action that drive open and click-through rates.
- Newsletters: Curate and write valuable content that nurtures leads and engages subscribers.
- Web: Website copy, landing pages, product descriptions, and blog articles that are optimized for both SEO and user experience.
- Adapt tone of voice seamlessly to match each client’s unique brand personality and their specific industry.
- Proofread and edit your own work and the work of peers to ensure the highest quality and accuracy.

- Interpret client feedback constructively and revise copy accordingly while maintaining strategic integrity.
- Experience: Professional copywriting experience, specifically within an advertising or marketing agency environment.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional writing skills across social media, email, web, and blog content. Examples of content strategy (e.g., pillar documents, calendars) are a huge plus.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think beyond the headline and develop content that serves a larger strategic business purpose.
- Versatility: A chameleon-like ability to switch between brand voices, industries, and content formats at a moment's notice.
- Digital Savvy: A deep understanding of digital marketing principles, platform-specific best practices, and SEO fundamentals.
