Business Analyst - Risk
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the Enterprise Management for a reputed organization.
This role operates at the intersection of business, data, and technology, ensuring that the platform meets business needs, aligns with governance standards, and is effectively adopted by users.
Mandatory Skill-set- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field;
- Must have 5 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in data-intensive projects;
- Strong understanding of GRC concepts (risk management, compliance frameworks);
- Must have solid knowledge of data modeling and data relationship design;
- Excellent documentation and communication skills;
- Proven ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams;
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow and other GRC tools;
- Knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks;
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Identify and document relationships between GRC entities (e.g., Risks, Controls, Regulations, Activities);
- Define cardinality and business rules governing data relationships;
- Develop entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs) and data flow diagrams;
- Translate high-level business requirements (BRDs) into detailed functional specifications;
- Define data validation rules, transformation logic, and business rules;
- Document metadata and data structure requirements for the repository;
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs);
- Validate data models and requirements with business stakeholders;
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment
- Develop and maintain data dictionary and metadata repository;
- Document business glossary and data lineage;
- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for development teams.
